China makers of bridal gowns are releasing elaborate models that reflect current trends.

The growing popularity of destination and themed weddings has generated a wider assortment of designs. Moreover, brides are veering away from the traditional and opting for versions that match their personalities.

Bridal gowns for beach weddings come in lightweight, breathable fabric, including chiffon, organza, georgette, tulle and charmeuse. These are often accentuated with fabric flowers on the back. Fairy tale-inspired models are more elaborate and regal-looking, studded with rhinestones, cultured pearls and even Swarovski crystals. These have lace-up backs, fabric-covered buttons, beaded straps and embroidered skirts.
